Type Information Gathering

There are two types information gathering:

• Active: Get information directly from target
• Passive: Get invormation through middleman e.g. search engine

What info we’re looking?

• IP address/addresses
• Company (server, building, etc)
• Employees (email, phone numbers)
• Technologies’ target (operating system, programming language, tech version)
